Week 2 Summary

Sorry for the lack of posts!! ……….xmas family duties and fun have kept me offline for the last few days so here we are on Sunday with my 2nd weeks summary.

Everything went to plan this week in most areas,

Total mileage : 60.5

Long Run : 15 miles @ 6:43m/m ( Nice run this morning up and down Weymouth promenade while visiting my mum, see below)

No speed sessions but allowed myself to up the pace every now and then during some of my runs to check for any reactions.

Most efficient run was Xmas mornings 8 miles (7m/m) which came in at 904bpm which is a nice improvement over last weeks 966bpm.

Resting HR this morning was 45, again another significant improvement on last weeks 49bpm

The only real negative for the week was not surprisingly my weight which has gone up by 1 pound to 11st 11 – I think this may have something to do with it being christmas :-)
I had already decided that I’m not going to worry about getting the weight down until Jan 1st so I’m not too concerned about this one, will just have to focus on it in the new year.

…………and in other news – I got an Xbox Kinect for christmas and it’s bloody good fun!

    How tall are you? Just to put your 11 st 11 lb in context.

    6ft. My normally racing weight is about a stone lighter at just under 11st so got a bit to lose at the moment!
